Download and Run the software

Note: This software only works on Windows at the moment. Please use the Deej Github for Linux support

Open Dot X and select your Deej device
Open Dot X, press the cog in the top right corner. Under device, find your device in the drop-down menu and select it.

Tip! While you are in settings, turn on autostart under general to make it start automatically when turning on your computer

Deej GitHub Repo

Download and run the Arduino IDE

1) Visit the Arduino website and download the IDE that support your operating system (Note: The Deej Github only supports Windows and Linux for now)
2) Open the Arduino IDE
3) Click the drop down on the top of the screen to select the com port. It may ask you to select what board you are using make sure you select the Arduino Nano.

You can download the required files from the Github download button but if you want to see the open source files or download the whole repo click here

Configure everything

1) Once you download the right files unzip the file and open the Arduino folder then the save file one more time.
2) Flash the Code onto the Arduino and find the COM port.
3) Open the config.yaml file and put the COM port and the paths to the applications you want to control
4) Run the Deej.exe just in the same folder as the config
5) Thats it!

If the device does not get recognized after you plug it in. You may need to download the CH340 driver.

Reflashing your Deej Mixer

Visit the DML MCU flasher
1) Navigate to DML MCU Flasher
2) Close the deej software if running - System tray -> Right click -> Quit
3)
Choose the com port of the device. The same that you have been using with deej, so you can either check the yaml file, or if unsure look in device manager for CH340
4) Click the flash button on the page.
5) Wait for flashing to complete! If you have any problems, please contact us!
